Voice Therapy
Voice Therapy address issues including: vocal discomfort, pain, unpredictability, or dissatisfaction. Your voice may weaken, become hoarse, or have an unreliable pitch. You may be experiencing tension and strain, or a voice that stops working all together. Voice therapy, generally, aims to identify and grow your good vocal habits, identify and eliminate harmful vocal habits. The end goal is to produce a voice that sounds good, is sustainable, and a client who is able to apply strategies and exercises as needed in the future as needed.

Vocal Hygiene

We begin with an assessment, which includes: thorough intake questions, voice recording and analysis, vocal hygiene and voice information. An assessment with an otolaryngologist or Ear Nose and Throat doctor (ENT) may be recommended. Therapy sessions focus on restoring your voice through evidence-based information, behavioural changes, exercises and practice. There is no pre-determined number of sessions, we do what you can do, and what it takes.
